Contracting Enterprises Incorporated (CEI) has been a leader in the utility construction industry for over 60 years. Acquired in 2007 by Argos Utilities Corporation, CEI provides municipal, cooperative and investor owned electrical utility systems with a full complement of overhead and underground construction and maintenance services. We also provide similar services for telecommunications and related utility systems.

The company, headquartered in Roanoke, VA, is a non-union contractor primarily serving customers in VA, WV, MD, TN, NC and SC. CEI's customers include AEP, Dominion Power, BG&E, Duke Power, NTELOS and Norfolk Southern Corporation, along with a growing roster of corporate customers and other regional utility providers.
